21st Annual Metro Fall Ball Lacrosse League

What: 5 Lacrosse Games
When: Sundays from September 12th - October 10th**
Where: W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia
Cost: Remains $80 per player
Team Play:
12 v 12 games. Students in grades 9-12 may sign up for the league. Max of 36 Teams will be
accepted. Each team must have a minimum of 16 players (maximum 22) and must include a rostered
goalie. Any team with less than 16 players will not be scheduled for games and will
lose their spot in the league. Teams may be made up of players from the same high school teams
or players from other schools who wish to form a team to play together.
It is required that each team has a designated rep/coach that will be on the sideline each week.
Games are on Sundays at Woodson High School in Fairfax. Game times will vary each Sunday with
games played between 8 am to 4 pm. We will try to accommodate a team’s request for a
morning/afternoon time slot, unfortunately we cannot guarantee a set time each week.
Brackets will be set up as Varsity Elite (should be Varsity Level players only),
Varsity Open and JV. Please specify your desired bracket when you reserve your team
spot. League coordinators reserve the right to determine final placement in the bracket
based on teams registered. We will try to honor all reasonable
requests for division placement.
Player Registration:
To reserve your team slot(s) please follow the instructions below:
Step 1. Team Coordinators/Coaches should request a team slot(s) & desired bracket by NLT
August 15th by emailing [email protected]. Be sure to apply early to ensure your team’s
spot in the league. Teams will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Once the maximum
teams (36) have been reached, teams will be placed on the waitlist. If a team fails to reach the
minimum number of players, then their slot will be offered to a waitlisted team.
Step 2. Your team(s) will be added to the registration system. The registration link & instructions
for your players to use will be sent to your Team Coordinator/Coach
Step 3. Team Coordinator/Coach will send the registration link & instructions to their
players. They are responsible for ensuring the players are registering for the correct
team. All player registrations are due by August 25th. Any teams that do not have the
minimum players by the deadline risk losing their spot in the league.
Emails will be sent out each week notifying the Team Coordinator/Coach of the registered players on
your team.
**Refunds will not be given if games are cancelled due to weather**
Refunds will not be given if players miss games due to other commitments/scheduling conflicts or injury/illness (that renders them unable to play in the league)
