2020 Woodson Dance & Cheer Camp

Camp Information

August 10-14

9:00-1:00 and 1:00-5:00

 

Join the Woodson High School Dance and Cheer teams for a week of fun, friends and a summer vacation to brag about! Campers will have fun all week making crafts, learning skills and have the opportunity to show off what they have learned at the end of the week to friends and family!

 

Dates and Pricing:

Register by June 15 for camp discounts!

$170 per camp or Combo Camps for $325

Registration after June 15

$180 per camp or Combo Camps for $350

NEW! For 2020 Before and After Care!! 

$50 for the week for drop off at 8:00 a.m.

$50 for the week for pickup by 6:00 p.m.

 

Location and Timing:

Camp will be held in the dance room and auxiliary gyms at Woodson High School, 9525 Main St., Fairfax VA 22031. 

Dance Camp

9:00-1:00

*Please contact Coach Krissy at [email protected] if you are registering a middle schooler for dance camp.

Cheer Camp

1:00-5:00

Camp check in will begin at 8:45 on Monday, 7:45 if you are participating in before care.  All other camp days will open at 9:00 for camp start or 8:00 for before care. Please do not drop off early and leave your child(ren) unattended before the start of camp.

What do I bring to camp?

Please bring a water bottle, snacks (and lunch if you are staying for both camps), a great attitude, and be ready to have FUN!

*kindly request all lunches and snacks to be nut free for our friends that may have allergies.

 

Who will be instructing my child(ren)?

Camp is overseen by cheer and dance team coaching staff that have completed FCPS background checks. Current Woodson High School athletes will provide the bulk of the instruction. 

 

Will I have an opportunity to see what my child(ren) learned?

YES! Camps will host a show off on the final day for parents and friends, as we like to say…BRING THE HYPE!

 

What are the age requirements for attending camp?

Camp is open to K-8th grade students, however if you are registering a middle school student for dance camp, please contact coach Krissy at [email protected]

 

What if my child(ren) cannot attend the full week?

No problem, we understand.  However, please know that prorated fees will not be given for partial attendance.

 

What is the refund policy?

No refunds will be given.  If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact [email protected], each request will be given consideration on an individual basis.

 

Is this camp for accelerated athletes to learn advanced skills?

Camp is about fostering self esteem and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Our goal is to foster a love for dance and cheer while learning basic skills and being introduced to the fundamentals of the sport.
